Located behind the Duomo, the museum contains much of the original art of the cathedral, as well as art from the baptistry and campanile. Some of the art featured here includes Michelangelo´s Florentine Pietà, Lorenzo Ghiberti´s Gates of Paradise, several of Donatello´s busts, and the original altar of the baptistry of San Giovanni. It is said to be one of the world´s most important sculpture collections.
